Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder!

Nicola keeps all of her spelling lists in year group folders. Each list has 15 spelling words on it. Nicola puts 40 weeks worth of lists in to each year group. There are 13 year groups.

a) How many spelling lists are there.

b) How many spellings are there, all together.
