hierarchy
Meaning: a system in which members of an organization or society are ranked according to status or authority.
Example of using it in a sentence “in a school there is hierarchy of staff at the bottom there is a TA, HTA, teachers, head of years, head of departments, deputy heads and at the top there is the Head Teacher . "
