Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the Weekly Maths Problem at the top of your page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder!

The local Computer store is having a sale. A DVD player was originally sold for £50. During a sale, the store manager marked up the DVD player for 50% off.  The sale staff earn 8% commission on the final ticket price on items they sell. How much would a member of staff make from the sale of the DVD player?
