World Book Day

We have had a great World Book Day! The youngest readers have been reading collections of Micheal Bond, Allen Ahlberg, Jill Murphy, Julia Donaldson and we read together my favourite Owl Babies by Martin Waddell.

The next group up have been very focused on non- fiction books and we have read about space, dinosaurs, rocks, raptors and World War 1.

The older children have been reading To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Small Steps, Anne of Green Gables and the Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

The very grown up ones have been taken on the Canterbury Tales. We have enjoyed the books and
