Welcome back! We’re kicking off the Autumn 2 term with all of us feeling much better than we left Autumn 1 — a fresh start and new energy all round for our half term ahead!
This month, our big focus is Design and Technology, and we’ve lined up some brilliant hands-on projects to build skills and spark creativity:
Week 9: Woodwork
Week 10: Sewing
Week 11: Soft metal
Week 12: Gingerbread houses (yes — we finish with something delicious and creative!)
Honey Bees, KS1 and KS2: Your project packs and instructions will be arriving in your support packs soon — keep a lookout.
KS3: If you’re joining coming to me to complete these projects, please remember to book your slot in advance so we can plan materials and space.
Sports & Activity Update
Don’t forget — we’ve moved our activity day to 5 December after everyone was unwell last half term. We’ll be heading to the Sports Centre for a fun-filled afternoon together.
We need to confirm our sport choices soon, so please share what you’d like to do:
Honey Bees & KS1: You've chosen swimming — great choice. We have a dedicated lane in the big pool from 4:00pm, so let us know if that is ok.
KS2, KS3 & KS4: You get to vote! Options are:
Clip and Climb (rope climbing adventure)
Team games in the sports hall
Gym session
Make your voice heard — the majority choice wins, and as always, older boys and girls will have separate sessions.
The sports staff need our answer quickly, so please let us know as soon as you can.
