Meaning – being successful at bringing about or reaching a desired objective or result by effort, skill or courage.

Example of using it in a sentence: "She achieved her ambition to become a Olympian boxer.”

Spelling Tip – here is one of the words that trips us a lot. Is it ‘ie’ or ‘ei’. Remember its ‘i’ before ‘e’ when it sounds like ‘eeeeeeeeee’.
