Minutes
Meaning – a written record of what was said and decided at a meeting.
Example of using it in a sentence: “The secretary typed the minutes after the meeting ended.”
It can also mean – a unit of time equal to sixty seconds.
Example of using it in a sentence: “The bus will arrive in five minutes.”
Spelling Tips: min + utes — from Latin minuta (small), as both meanings refer to something small in measure.
