Millennium


Meaning – a period of one thousand years.


Example of using it in a sentence: “The year 2000 marked the beginning of a new millennium.”


Spelling Tips: mil + len + ni + um — double ‘l’ and double ‘n’. Comes from Latin mille (thousand) + annus (year).


Use the word as many times throughout the week as you can.
