Don’t forget to write out the Weekly Maths Problem at the top of your page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder!
A Chertsey plumber bought some pieces of copper and plastic pipe. Each piece of copper pipe was 3 metres long and each piece of plastic pipe was 4 metres long. The total length of the pipe needed was 25 metres. How many pieces of each type of pipe did the plumber buy? Give all possible alternatives.
You can share your answers here on Facebook or in the forum or with me as I visit during the week. Remember you need to show your workings out to get the maximum points.
