Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder!

We are celebrating all the brilliant work of the RNLI this week. So we have a math problem liked to their rescue efforts, imagine a ferry with 127 passengers hits the rocks. Each lifeboat can rescue 23 people at one time. If the ferry is going to sink fast and the lifeboat men decide it is important to take every one off in one go. How many lifeboats do they need to send so they don't have to return?

You can share your answers here in the forum on the website or with me as I visit during the week. Remember you need to show your workings out to get the maximum points.
