Walking for Health - Blue Monday

If you have been a little bit lazy over the last few weeks here is time to step back in to exercise. This Monday is known is often referred to as the saddest day of the year. We know for certain that colder weather, shorter days and darker evenings can affect our mood, energy levels, sleep patterns and what we eat and how much we eat. The best way forward is to get more natural light as possible so if you are not swimming because you are feeling blue - then let's get going by walking outside. As it is blue Monday, why not look for anything that is blue on your walk. Hopefully we will have some of these - although a blue sky often means cold temperatures at this time of the year it is on days like these we need to be out and about walking or out in the Orchard Training Homeschool Garden Club.
