Orchard Training Garden Club - Sunflower Competition

The Sunflower competition results have been announced! This year has proven to be challenging for the sunflowers, with no outstanding success stories. Even the learners in Southampton, with the assistance of Grandpa, were unable to grow a sunflower taller than the fence.

Therefore, we have decided to declare a tie between two learners, as there was only a 0.5cm difference between their sunflowers - one in Hampshire and the other in Surrey. Garden gift cards will be sent to both winners. Congratulations to all participants!

The disappointing outcome can be attributed to the exceptionally wet and cold weather this summer.
