Mediterranean
Meaning – relating to the Mediterranean Sea or the countries around it.
Example of using it in a sentence: “We enjoyed a Mediterranean holiday in Greece.”
Spelling Tips: med + i + terr + a + nean — think of “medi” (middle) + “terra” (land) + “nean.” The root means “in the middle of the land” in Latin.
