correspondence (noun)

This word has two different meanings but stilling works as a noun. In the past we have seen words that can be used as a noun and a verb.

Meaning – to communicate by letters.

Example of using it in a sentence:Most of my correspondence is done by email.

Meaning – a close similarity, connection, or equivalence to something else.

Example of using it in a sentence:There is a correspondence with how much homework I do and how easy I find school work. The more I read ta home - the easier I find it to read.

Spelling Tip – Say as you write the core of correspondence is the responding to letters with family members in the “ence” family.

Use the word as many times throughout the week as you can. This can be verbally, in your written work or listen out for other people using it.
