Meaning – something that is right, suitable or proper in the circumstances
Example of using it in a sentence: "When you are told ‘no’ by your parents what is the appropriate response?”
The word can also mean to ‘steal’ in law courts. When you look at the Latin root word meaning “to make your own” so you can see how it has become a negative legal term.
