Meaning: the feeling of being treated unfairly or in a wrong way, this may be either real or imagined but it the person to complain officially.
Example of using it in a sentence “The teachers are out on strike again over their fair pay grievance."
This Old French word comes the feeling of being burdened or injured in some way.
Spelling tip: we are breaking the word up like this just as we say it. We need to remember it belongs in the “ance” family not the “ence” family.
