Meaning –the position twelve in a sequence.

Example of using it in a sentence: "The twelfth day of Christmas”

It also means one of the 12 parts of something that has been cut in 12 pieces.

Example of using it in a sentence: “I only ate a twelfth of the pie – who eat the rest?”

Spelling Tip – in the middle of the word twelfth there is the word elf. Imagine that a race with the tiny little elf coming twelfth a cross the finishing line.
