This word has two different but related meaning.
The first meaning the envelope of gasses that surrounds the earth or a planet
Example of using it in a sentence "In the past, our atmosphere was much cleaner before heavy industry were invented. "
It can also be used to mean – the feeling, tone or mood of a place, a situation or a piece of art work.
Example of using it in a sentence “That painting has really caught the sad atmosphere present around those graves.”
