Weekly Maths Problem
Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder! This is a multi-step problem. Think about all the steps you need to do to find the answer.
Sam and Carl are using a balance in at the Orchard training Cookery Club. On his side, Sam places metal weights that weigh 25g each. On the other side of the work top, Carl uses metal weights that weigh 20g each. What is the smallest number of grams Sam and Carl could each place on their side of the balance to make the two sides equal?
You can share your answers here in the forum on the website or with me as I visit during the week. Remember you need to show your workings out to get the maximum points.
