We Are Returning To Leaning on Monday 2nd September

We are returning to the learning in 9 days time, on Monday 2nd September. I will be asking parents to confirm who is coming or stayign with us homeschooling and who has over the summer holidays have decided they are in fact brave enough to return to school or college. Once I have the total numbers, I will be looking at setting up the Study Buddy groups.

The expenses associated with operating this homeschool service have risen throughout the year, and although we have covered most of them, we are unable to continue absorbing them this year. Regrettably, I must raise the hourly rate as a result of this.

May I remind every one of the importance of having a diary, pens, pencils, notebooks, paper, and a calculator, in addition to the one on our phones. A diary is crucial for documenting the educational activities and schedules for inclusion team inspections carried out by the County Council. This documentation is essential in demonstrating that your child is receiving appropriate and adequate homeschooling. Providing ample evidence reduces the likelihood of penalties or a return-to-school order. Both the parent and the student are responsible for maintaining these records. While I keep electronic backups of your records, it is necessary to document any independent work completed outside the virtual classroom throughout the week.
