Manoeuvre
Meaning – a movement or series of moves requiring skill and care.
Example of using it in a sentence: “The driver made a careful manoeuvre to park in the tight space.”
It can also mean – to move full of skill or carefully around obstacles.
Example of using it in a sentence: “The soldiers manoeuvred into position.”
Spelling Tips: Comes from the French manoeuvrer. Break it into ma + noe + u + vre. The ‘oeu’ in the middle is the most challenging part to remember.
Use the word as many times throughout the week as you can.
