October is History Month

Throughout the month of October we will be focused upon history. It is black history month and there will be a number of great documentaries available to cover this area of history.

Our walk along the River Thames will be covering the east end of London, the Victorian docklands to the modern time period of the city, passing as we do the Cutty Sark, in Greenwich. The Cutty Sark is the record-breaking tea clipper which travelled the globe and visited the major world ports in her day.

We will also be looking at important dates in British history.
