End of Term Plan – The Final Three Weeks

Well done, everyone, for looking after yourselves last week!

We had the perfect storm of very high temperatures, high humidity and exceptionally high pollen counts. For many families, this meant poor sleep, reduced concentration and increased frustration, making learning much more difficult than usual.

Now that the worst of last week's disruption has settled down, we have the final three weeks left until the end of term. During this time, we need to:

  • Finish any work that was missed last week.

  • Complete the work already set for these final weeks.

  • Carry out our end-of-year diagnostic assessments.

To help make this manageable, we will be staggering the diagnostics across the different year groups.

This Week

  • Years 3 and 4 will complete their diagnostics first and then continue with their usual work.

Week 38

  • Years 6 and 7 will begin with their diagnostics before moving on to their remaining work.

Week 39

  • Years 8, 9 and 10 will complete their diagnostics first and then continue with their studies.

Thank you, as always, for your flexibility and support. The end of the year is now in sight, and by working steadily over these final weeks, we can ensure that everyone finishes the term successfully.
