Weekly Maths Problem
This is a multiple step question, break it down into steps to carry out.
Nicola has some posting to send. She puts the letters into 4 envelops measuring 15 cm by 12 cm. She adds 4 stamps: one to each letter. The stamps measure 4 cm by 2 cm. What is the area of envelopes not covered by the stamps?
The only help I am going to give is - Don’t forget the back of the envelope!
