Cemetery (noun)

Meaning – a large burial ground, especially one not in a church yard.

Example of using it in a sentence "Nicola took flowers to the cemetery.”

Synonyms: graveyard, churchyard, burial ground, burial place

Spelling Tip – Brake the work down in to cem + et + ery. Make sure you know that it is a ‘ery’ at the end not ‘ary’.

Use the word as many times throughout the week as you can. This can be verbally, in your written work or listen out for other people using it.
