Geography - June
Scientific expeditions to the Arctic
If you would like to go to this lecture at the Royal Institute in London on Wednesday 26 June, 7.00pm – 8.30pm please let me know as soon as possible. I need to book tickets by Tuesday 18th June.
Helen Czerski will discuss the melting polar ice caps and her research into Arctic weather following her recent expedition to the North Pole. The Arctic is a weird environment to live in, but coming home wasn’t straightforward either. It’s a tale of ice and bears and ships... and the evolution of a small village.
