Word of the Week

equipped

Meaning: that you have all the things you need for a particular task or job.

Example of using it in a sentence “Here at Orchard Training Film Club we are equipped with a copy of the film and some snacks to enjoy whilst watching."

This word is the past participle of last week’s word, and refers to a person having the skills and tools for their job.

Spelling tip: we are going to break the work in to the sounds we can hear and we are going to focus on that second ‘p’ so we don’t forget it.

                                                               e + qu + ip + p + ed

Use the word as many times throughout the week. This can be verbally, in your written work or listen out for other people using it.
