Word of the Week
intelligence (noun)
Meaning – the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills
Example of using it in a sentence: "The learners who learn with Orchard Training all have intelligence.”
Synonyms: intellect, mind, brain, brainpower, powers of reasoning, judgement, reasoning, understanding, comprehension, sense, wit and insight.
Spelling Tip – this is an “ence”, not an “ance” word (and it’s a ‘g’ not a ‘j’ as some of you have asked me this week!)
In + tell + i + g + ence
Use the word as many times throughout the week as you can. This can be verbally, in your written work or listen out for other people using it.
