Charity Bike Ride - 20 mile practice


This week we have started our long-distance cycle training. We have been practising in small groups so we can pass walkers safely and to change positions. So far, we all can do 20 miles in one session. I have to say how proud I am of the youngest member of the group who was flagging but managed to get all the way around. We have only had one injury, when my front tyre crossed the back tyre the weaving bike in front of me. I have shredded knees and bruises down my leg but nothing is broken. A timely reminder that our spacing needs to be a little bit wider.
