Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder!

Next week will be our last week of swimming and we are near at the 22 miles’ mark. The swimmers all want to do the last swim together in the same pool. Only one leisure centre has agreed to this. So far those taking part have planned to travel together. We have 5 (all 4 seats taken) cars, 2 (all 3 seats taken) vans, 3 travelling by the bus and 4 people coming by train. How many so far have said they are coming to the final swim?
