Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder! This is a guess and check problem. Think about all the steps you need to do to find the answer.

Ben spent £10 at a Comic Book store. He bought Spiderman and Avengers comic novels. The Spiderman novels cost £3 apiece and the Avengers novels cost £2 apiece. If Ben bought 4 novels, how many of each type did he buy?
