Homeschool Is Out Today!

Good morning everyone,

At 6:30am this morning, the homeschool office temperature had already reached 28.7°C, which means our Hot Weather Policy is officially in effect.

As a result, Homeschool is out today!

I suspect many of us are starting the day a little tired after a restless night's sleep. This teacher certainly is! Not only was the heat making sleep difficult, but the water company was carrying out works on the road at the bottom of the hill. As I discovered last night, sound travels a very long way in the early hours of the morning!

With temperatures set to remain high, today is a day to take things easy. No homeschooling today we can catch up later when our brains have had enough sleep! Please stay cool, drink plenty of water, keep to the shade whenever possible, and don't forget to enjoy an ice pop or two to help beat the heat.
