Friday's Reflections
We have made it to the end of the first week of this lockdown. Well done to every one for such a positive start. There are five weeks to go until half term. I know this is not exactly how we wanted to spend this term but our planning together has helped the start to the new year go smoothly. You might be feeling angry, frustrated or low – however you are feeling is valid. Know this, you are not alone. If you are feeling this way and feel like you need some support you can text for some professional help at Young Mind, text YM to 85258 at any time of day or night.
We have a lot to look forward to this week. It is National Curried Chicken Day this week and in our Orchard Training Cookery Club we will be cooking a tasty chicken curry. There is an opportunity to clean up your homeschool learning place and get reorganised. While we are about and out on our daily walk allowed under the new lock down regulation, we can start our journey to a fitter healthier 2021. As the gyms are closed we can take part in out swimming challenge, we can use the gym and take part our personalised weights program. So, our challenge is to reach as high a step count as you can during January. What to aim for each day:
3,000 – a good start, keep pushing yourself.
5,000 – Your doing well, keep going!
7,000 – Great work, can you reach the net level
10,000 Brilliant stuff, see how far you can go
15,000 Incredible effort
Most of you have make a good start to on your citizenship project. You will still be able to do your presentation in week 5 only we will have to do it differently. we will talk about that as we get closer to the time.
