Category (noun)

Meaning – a class or division of people or things regarded as having particular shared characteristics.

Example of using it in a sentence "The books in the Year 6 book list there are a lot of books that fall in the War category.”

Synonyms: class, classification, categorization, group, grouping, bracket, head, heading, list listing, set.

Spelling Tip – Brake the work down in to cat + e + gor + y. Make sure you know that it is a ‘y’ at the end not a ‘e’.
