Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder! This is a multi-step problem. Think about all the steps you need to do to find the answer.

While hiking, Nicola went down 200 metres from the starting point at the carpark.

If the car park is at 300 metres above sea level, which integer represents Nicola’s elevation now? She walks 4 miles on level grown before retuning to the carpark. At what elevation will she be at the end of the walk?
