Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder! This is a multi-step problem. Think about all the steps you need to do to find the answer.

During the fireworks display James saw 60 compound cakes, 100 sky rockets and 40 Roman Candles, 60 Fountains, 10 Mines and 30 Catherine Wheels. What fractions of the display that James watched does the Fountains represent? (Don’t forget to simplify your answer)

You can share your answers here in the forum on the website or with me as I visit during the week. Remember you need to show your workings out to get the maximum points.
