Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder!

Valentine’s Day is coming up soon and Mary wants to sell fudge at the local food market. She made 40 full boxes of fudge and there were 75 fudge packets in each box. She sells the ¾ of all the fudge she took for £1.50 each. How many pieces of fudge did she sell? How many did she take back home and how much money did she make from the sales?

You can share your answers here in the forum on the website or with me as I visit during the week. Remember you need to show your workings out to get the maximum points.
