Bike Day!

Join us as we learn about our bikes on Thursday August 9th 2018

We have a bike training specialist coming from the company who will be running the Action for Carers Surrey Charity Bike Ride. The day will start at 9.30am and finish at 3.30pm (let me know what you want for lunch) and will cover:

1) Bike maintenance – including how to carry repairs out on the road!

2) Gears! What they are for and how to use them

3) Passing walkers safely

We are also going to cover the route we are going to take for our charity bike ride. Finally, how to pacing ourselves over the 43 miles. We have some sprinters who are very good at ‘fast’ in the beginning of the training sessions but will really struggling at the end of the real thing.

Our 43-mile bike ride will be raising money for Action for Carers Surrey. (for more information about this fantastic organization, visit their website: https://www.actionforcarers.org.uk/) This charity supports carers to look after family, partners or friends who are ill, frail or have a disability. The care they provide is unpaid.

There are 10 places available and will cost £25.00 for the day. It will be held at my place.
