Compatible (adjective and noun)
Meaning – when two or more things are able to exist or occur together without problems or conflict.
Example of using it in a sentence: “Working in a war zone with the army is not compatible with family life.”
When used a as a noun – it means that a computer that can use software designed for another make or type.
Example of using it in a sentence: “Some Microsoft products are compatible with Apple.”
Spelling Tip – the tricky part of this word is which family does it belong to? We say ‘able’ at the end but it belongs in to the ‘ible’ family. So, when spelling say “com +pat + I +ble really emphasis the I.” or “I am compatible with spelling this”
