Weekly Maths Problem

Don’t forget to write out the problem at the top of the page, date the work and show all your workings out (even the wrong answers) and then file the evidence in your folder! This is a multi-step problem. Think about all the steps you need to do to find the answer.

A shop originally priced a set of garden tools at £50. In order to make room for the new winter inventory coming in, however, the shop reduced the garden tool set on sale for 50% off. If Ben, earns a 12% commission on the sale price, sold the item, how much would he make?
