On Saturday 19 august Chris was riding his new ktm 450 out on his privately-owned motocross track. He had been riding around all day and was starting to get tired. Chris knows it is dangerous to ride when you are tired but he thought he would do one more lap and try to get a quicker time ready for his race the next day. He had made it round half of the track, he then hit a jump and landed wrongly and started to pick up a speed wobble then suddenly he high sided and was chucked 4 meters away from his bike. sadly, as Chris was there by himself with broken ribs and broken both legs, he couldn’t get up he was laying there for around 7 hours when his wife thought that he is normally back by 6 so she kept calling him and eventually she drove to the track and called an ambulance.
