Collectable or Collectible (adjective)

Here we have a tricky word! The spelling with the suffix “–able” is correct in the dictionary, although the suffix “–ible” occurs twice as often.

You can use “collectible” in the context of “Toys and other collectibles” making it a noun. Using “collectable” when something is able to be collected, using as a verb, “The debt has become collectable.”

Meaning – an item worth collecting, of interest to a collector.

Example of using it in a sentence "Nicola’s books are increasingly collectable.”

It can also mean – able to be collected
