Accompany
Meaning – to go some where with someone.
Example of using it in a sentence: "The homeshooling teacher is to accompany us on the Globe Theatre trip, so we feel safe going."
It can also mean – to be present or occur at the same time as something else.
Example of using it in a sentence: "The offer of a free tour of the backstage area accompied our ticket offer."
Spelling Tips: the original Old French root word is ‘companion’ and a company is where work is done together with others. If you have already learnt to spell ‘company’ then you only need to add the ‘ac’ at the beginning otherwise its:
