harassed (verb)

Meaning – to aggressively pressure or intimidate.

Example of using it in a sentence: "If you are being harassed - speak up.”

Synonyms: pester, badger, hound, harry, plague, torment, bedevil, persecute, bother, annoy, exasperate, worry, disturb, trouble, agitate, provoke and vex

It can also mean – to make repeated small-scale attacks on (an enemy).

Example of using it in a sentence: "The wasps harassed the bees.”
