Experience (noun)
Meaning – the process of gaining knowledge or skills from doing, seeing or feeling things.
Example of using it in a sentence "I know from experience that some of you will not do your homework this week.”
Synonyms: endure, feel, have, know, pass, see, suffer, sustain, taste, undergo, witness
It can also mean – something that happens to you that affects how you feel
Example of using it in a sentence “I had pretty good experience at the dentist’s recently.”
Spelling Tip – We have to get the ‘i’ and the ‘e’ in the right order in this word. So, remember this is a ‘ence’ and not a ‘ance’ word and put the ‘i’ in on its own.
Say the sentence “I experience things by being in the middle of it”
ex + per + i + ence
Use the word as many times throughout the week as you can. This can be verbally, in your written work or listen out for other people using it.
